shopping Since it’s placed on the eleventh spot when it comes to retail sales in 2008, out of all the cities of California, shopping is very important for the city of Roseville. They are expected to go into top 10 once the economy recovers, with sales of more than $4 billion each year. This is known as the shopping destination of the region and the Westfield Galleria is the biggest shopping center here. Right now, the Galleria is being expanded to 487,000 square feet and this increase costs $270 million.

The Roseville Galleria of Westfield is located on the Galleria Boulevard at number 1151 and it’s pretty new. It has good parking and it is spacious, bright and large. These days the mall is being expanded, but it is a very nice place to go to and shop. You will find the regular stores here, including Sears, Nordstrom, Macy and JC Penney.

Found across from the mall of Galleria is the Fountains, where you will find plenty of upscale stores, like Whole Foods, Anthropologie, Smith & Hawken, Chico and Theater Xtreme. There are plenty of choices for dining here if you’re hungry, including The Counter and the California Pizza Kitchen. This mall is well known for the big fountain found in the center, which has light shows each night. The younger people tend to come to this mall and hang out and during the night you might see wedding parties arriving. You should make sure you’re on your best behavior in this mall as the security will be ruthless and you can be thrown out if you don’t respect the rules. The guards have pepper sprays and batons, with armed backups in the vicinity. This mall is quite safe and a nice place to go to when you want to have some fun and do some shopping.
